Travel to school

Lake Cargelligo Central School is serviced daily by buses that travel across Lake Cargelligo and surrounding areas, providing safe and reliable transport for our students.

All buses pick up and drop off directly from the bus zone located on the side of the school. This ensures that students arrive and depart from a safe, supervised area every morning and afternoon.

School buses play an important role in supporting attendance, wellbeing, and connection for our students, while also giving families peace of mind that their children have a dependable way to get to and from school each day.

For more information about bus routes, timetables, or to organise travel for your child, please contact the school’s front office.

Morning Bus Run – Supporting Wellbeing, Connection and Belonging

At Lake Cargelligo Central School, we know that arriving at school feeling safe, supported and ready to learn makes a real difference to our students’ success. To strengthen attendance and connection, our Morning Bus Run operates daily between 8:30am and 9:00am within the town of Lake Cargelligo. This initiative ensures that students have a reliable and welcoming way to get to school each day.

The Morning Bus Run is more than just transport — it’s about supporting student wellbeing, connection and a strong sense of belonging. It helps set positive routines, provides a friendly check-in with staff, and encourages students to start their day on the right foot. Every child is welcome to use this service, and families can arrange a regular pick up by contacting the school’s front office.

This important initiative reflects our school’s commitment to ensuring that every student is given the opportunity to attend school every day, engage in their learning, and feel part of a connected and caring community.
