School Based Traineeships

Lake Cargelligo Central has offered School Based Traineeships over the past 3 years, which has proven a great success. School based traineeships provide students with the opportunity to attain a nationally recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualification as well as their Higher School Certificate (HSC) and gain valuable work skills and experience through paid employment. Both the on-the-job and off-the-job training undertaken by school-based trainees can contribute to their HSC.

Primary Industries, Building and Construction, Business Services and Hospitality

Lake Cargelligo Central offers Primary Industries, Building and Construction, Business Services and Hospitality. We are fortunate to have two Trade Trading Centres completed in 2013 in Building and Construction and Hospitality.

The Trade Training Centres allows students to access high quality trade training facilities that meet industry standards. This encourages students to complete their studies, while creating opportunities for them with future employment as well as further education and training.
